Berry Sweet

This Mother's Day we went strawberry picking and it was fabulous! Being outside, eating tasty berries, spending time with the family; these are all my favorite things. The kids were expert berry pickers (most of them). My little guy seemed to want to pick green ones, and then take the nice red ones from the container and throw them back into the patch. He didn't mind hanging out on Daddy's shoulders, so the girls and I could focus on berry picking.

Growing up in New York, strawberry season was mid to late June. So it took some adjusting to think about strawberry season being in the spring, but I'm alright with it.
